Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Assistant Manager to join our team in Lemont, IL, in the growing field of AI-powered trucking technology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while supporting day-to-day office operations. The role includes assisting with the integration of AI technology into our trucking processes, coordinating office functions, and occasionally traveling to client sites or company events as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Operations Management: Ensure the smooth operation of office tasks, including handling incoming calls, managing office supplies, maintaining office equipment, and managing internal communications.
- Team Support & Coordination: Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and assist with scheduling appointments for office staff, management, and visiting clients or partners.
- AI Technology Integration: Work alongside technical teams to ensure that AI systems are seamlessly integrated into trucking operations. Assist with troubleshooting minor tech issues and help monitor system performance.
- Customer & Client Support: Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, providing updates, answering questions, and ensuring client satisfaction with services and technology.
- Documentation & Reporting: Assist in the creation and maintenance of operational records, performance reports, and other documentation related to AI integration and trucking logistics. Help analyze data to improve operational efficiency.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange travel logistics for staff, clients, and executives, including booking flights, hotels, and ground transportation. Be available to travel occasionally for meetings, site visits, and industry events.
- General Office Administration: Perform basic office duties such as filing, data entry, maintaining inventory, and organizing office logistics.
- Project Management Support: Assist in the execution of special projects related to business operations, including technology implementation, process improvements, and client onboarding.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- Experience in the trucking, logistics, or technology sectors is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI or tech-driven industries is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, etc.).
